Callbacks

Welcome to our guide on setting up callbacks! This document will guide you through configuring callbacks to work seamlessly with our tracking software. Callbacks are crucial for accurately tracking and optimizing our marketing campaigns.

By following these guidelines, you'll ensure that every conversion is accurately tracked and attributed, enhancing the effectiveness of our partnership. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out for assistance.

Understanding Callbacks​

A callback is triggered when a conversion (like a registration or sale) occurs in your system. At this point, your system will send us a notification, known as a GET request, to one of our designated endpoints. This notification includes the Click ID, which we previously sent via our affiliate links. This connection between the conversion and the click helps us accurately attribute the success to the right campaign.

Configuring Callbacks​

Available Endpoints​

We have set up three specific endpoints for different types of conversions. You will use a standard GET request with URL parameters to notify us. These endpoints are:

  1. First Time Deposit (FTD):
https://constantleads.io/wp-json/trax/v1/ftd
  1. Registration:
https://constantleads.io/wp-json/trax/v1/reg
  1. Sales or General Conversions:
https://constantleads.io/wp-json/trax/v1/sale

Required Parameters​

When making these GET requests, you must include the following:

  • clickid (required): This is the unique click ID provided to you, by us during the click event.

Optional Parameters​

The following parameters are optional. We appreciate if you include them in your callbacks, as they help us aggregate data.

  • network (optional): The name of your affiliate network.

  • program (optional): The name of the specific affiliate program or service that converted.

Callback Configuration Example​

Here’s how to set up a callback for a First Time Deposit:

https://constantleads.io/wp-json/trax/v1/ftd?clickid={clickid}&network={network}&program={program}

For instance, if the Click ID we sent is 85512345, your company or network name is AffiliateWeb, and the First Time Deposit conversion happened on the website or program SuperGame1, your final callback URL would look like this:

https://constantleads.io/wp-json/trax/v1/ftd?clickid=85512345&network=AffiliateWeb&program=SuperGame1

We do not require testing or test links. Smiply set up the callback according to the instructions above in your system and you are done. We will reach out to you if needed.
